Maxwell Allen wore many hats. He was a pilot, sailor, police officer, teacher, graphic artist, and Petoskey businessman. His passions for flying, sailing, and his never ending love for his horses and dogs molded his life. Max will forever be missed for his dry humor and his natural ability to listen and teach. He is survived by his wife, a stepson, 9 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Marjorie Doggie and Phyllis Braathen. An Honor Guard Graveside Ceremony is scheduled to take place at a later date. Details are forthcoming.
