The funeral service for former Midland Brake employee William Leon Brewer of Paris will be at 2 p.m. Friday at McEvoy Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery.
Named as pallbearers are Deven Brewer, Shawn, Dion, Austin and Dale Chenoweth and Robert Hodges.
Visitation is planned from 4-8 p.m. Thursday and after 10 a.m. Friday.
Brewer, 60, died Monday, July 17, 2006, at his residence.
His wife Wanda Sue Buie Brewer survives. They were married Aug. 30, 1979.
Born Aug. 15, 1945, in Reno, Nev., he was the son of Leah Jeanne Kearl Brewer Watts of Paris and the late Wilbur Leon Brewer. He was the stepson of Bobby Watts of Paris.
Brewer was a 1963 graduate of Grove High School. He was employed with Midland Brake for several years and then retired after more than 15 years with Ace Trucking in Jackson after becoming disabled. He was a Baptist.
He also leaves one daughter: Dionna DeChiell (Robert) Hodges of Murray; four sons: Dion and Deven Chenoweth and Shawn (Evana) Chenoweth, all of Paris, and Dale Chenoweth of Flat Rock, Mich.; 12 grandchildren; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
