Born November 28, 1925, near South Webster, a son of the late William Frederick and Della Mae Cook Bouts, he had been a machinist with General Motors in Dayton. He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
Surviving are a son, Michael Bouts of Jupiter, Florida; a daughter, Connie Tobias of Marco Island, Florida; four brothers, William Carl Bouts of Hiram, Paul Wendell Bouts of Garrettsville and Arthur Roy and Danny Ray Bouts, both of South Webster; and six sisters, Avileen Ruth Johnson of Beaver, Lillie Mae Bouts of Porsmouth, Shirley A. Imm of Anchorage, Alaska, Joyce Ann Crace of Lucasville and Donna Barker and Kay McGee, both of Columbus.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at D.W. Davis Funeral Home in South Webster, with interment in South Webster Cemetery. Graveside military rites will be conducted by James Dickey Post American Legion.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the service Thursday.
