Jose Luis Acosta Jr., a charismatic, gentle-hearted man with a fun-loving spirit. Our beloved son, brother, uncle, cousin, nephew, was an old soul! He enjoyed playing his trumpet along with all genres of music, especially jazz! Jose was at his best when doing the things he loved; cooking for family and friends while listening to music together, camping, fishing, football, swimming or just relaxing watching a favorite movie. Whatever task was given to him he was sure to be the best at it, as he was always so accomplished and recognized for top sales. Jose was a natural leader.

Jose was blessed to know the unconditional love of his family, especially his mother. Jose was adored by his nieces and nephews, rightfully so, as they all had a very special place in their Uncle Joe’s heart. Jose’s younger sisters knew his protective nature all too well and his older sissy was always there to keep him in check. In all Jose and his sisters could always count on each other. Always.

Jose was survived by his mother, Gloria Acosta, older sister, Rebecca Ojeda (Husband, Ronnie and daughters, Gabriella, Maya and Sofia), younger sisters, Teresa Acosta (husband William Bruegemann and daughters, Emma, Olivia and Lilliam), Mary Petra Higley (husband, Matthew Higley and sons, Cyrus and Ryan)and Sandra Anna Murillo (husband, Uver Murillo and sons Diego and Mateo). Jose also loved his aunts, uncles, cousins and friends with all he had.

Jose is preceded in death by his father, Jose Luis Acosta Sr. who like Jose Jr. left this earth too soon, but not without filling our hearts with immense love. Also greeting Jose Jr. at the golden gates are his grandparents, Pedro & Velia Acosta and Demetrio and Petra Perez and most recently cousins, Tommy and Xe Acosta.
