January 16, 1980 obituary & death notice. TURNER - Clara I Bragg, 91, died unexpectedly Tuesday at her home here at 284 Danforth Street. She was born in Turner Jan. 22, 1888, the daughter of Ernest and Annie West Bragg. She graduated from Leavitt Institute, class of 1905, and was a teacher for 16 terms in Turner, Hartford, Sumner and Paris schools. She later lived at Cape Elizabeth where she worked as a housekeeper in private families. She is survived by a daughter, Annie F. Bragg, Portland, with whom she had made her home; one brother, Frank Bragg, Hartford; and one sister, Mrs. Alice Sampson, Canton... BRAGG - at Portland, January 15, 1980. Clara I. Bragg, age 91. Funeral services at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Andrews and Son Funeral Home, High St., Buckfield. Spring Internment in Pine Grove Cemetery, Canton. Visiting hours Wednesday evening from 6 to 8.
