Services for Mrs. Lily V. Allen, 81, of 1412 SW 31st. will be at 10 am Tuesday, 27 July, 1976 in the Capitol Hill Funeral Home with burial in the Moore Cemetery, Cleveland County, OK. (Beside 2nd. Husband, Thomas H. Allen)
Mrs Allen died Friday, 23 July 1976 in the Baptist Medical Center following a brief illness.
Born in Noble, Cleveland County, Oklahoma 20 June 1895. She came to Oklahoma City in 1973, from Amarillo, TX., where she had lived since 1940.
She was a Mother, Grandmother, (better known as "MALLY"(to the grandchildren) Sister, Aunt, Artist, and Writer.She was a member of Amarillo First Christian Church.
Survivors include,
one son, Jesse Merl Prosser, of Tulelake, California.
Two daughters, Nettie Sullivent and Violet Davis of Oklahoma City.
Two "Step-sons", Charles K Prosser of Oregon and Frank Prosser of Kansas. Eight Grand-children, and
Five Great Grandchildren. and numerous nieces & nephews.
