Funeral services for Mrs. Lorene Foutch, 87, of Smithville were held Wednesday May 10,
2000 at 2 p.m. at DeKalb Funeral Chapel in Smithville.
Bob Spann, Dan Gulley, and A..P. Conger officiated and burial followed in DeKaib Memorial
Gardens.
Mrs. Foutch died Monday May 8, 2000 at River Park Hospital of an extended illness.
She was retired from Val-Dor, having worked 43 years, and a member of the Smithville
Church of Christ.
Mrs. Foutch was preceded in death by: her parents, William Alonzo and Virchie Vaughn
Thurman; and her husband, John Thomas "Boxie" Foutch.
Survivors of Mrs. Foutch include: son and daughter-in-law, Glenn and Lois Foutch of
Smyrna; son and daughter-inlaw, David Leon "Boxie" and Linda Foutch of Smithville; daughter and son-inlaw, Anna Jean and Jack Bond of McMinnville; brother, Grady Thurman of Smithville; two sisters, Nadean Lawrence of Florida and Myrtle Gillam of Madison, TN., four
grandchildren; and five greatgrandchildren.
Pallbearers for Mrs. Foutch were Clay Farler, Glen Nichols, Amos Hedge, Billy Willingham,
Johnnie Cripps, Kevin James, and James Stanley. DeKalb Funeral Chapel in Smithville was in charge of the arrangements.
