The funeral of Mr. John E Kennebeck, who had been managing director in Australia and-New Zealand of Paramount Pictures, took place from St. Mary Magdalene Church, Rose Bay, to Wood Coffins Mortuary, Chapel City, where the remains will rest until they are taken to Om»ha, Nebraska.

The Rev. Father R.J. O'Regan, P.P., celebrated Requiem Mass. The Apostolic Delegate (Dh-Pánico), attended by the Rev. Mons. T.J. King and J. Meany, presided. Other clergy present Included the Very Rev. A. Kelly, Father R. Murphy, and a number of Sisters of Charity, Sisters of Mercy, and Good Samaritans. Pupils of Our Lady of Mercy College, Rose Bay, sang the Mass, and the Rev Mona King delivered the panegyric.

At the end of the service the American setting of the Last Post and Reveille were sounded.

Among the mourners were Mrs. F.D. Kennebeck (widow), Margaret F. and John Joseph (children), Mr. and Mrs. A.C. Aubry, Mr. and Mrs. J.A. Sixsmith, Mr. and Mrs. W. Hurworth, Mr. and Mrs. D. Carroll, Mrs. Jane'Cave, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Gawler, Mr. R.L. Graham, Mr. and Mrs. Viner-Hall, Mr. and Mrs. M. Samuels, Mr. and Mrs. Krygér, Sir Victor Wilson, Sir Fredk. McMaster, Mr. O J. McDermott, Mr. J.L. Thornley (Melbourne), Mr. R.B. Howard (president American Society), Mr. and Mrs. J. Kren, and Mr. Moffltt. (Consul-General of tha U.S.A).

Many representatives of the motion picture industry and the business and other sections of the community were also present.
