funeral services for Mrs. Lena Bell Burris, 44, of Hermitage, Tenn., who died Tuesday at St Thomas Hospital, will be held at 10o'clock this morning at the New Hope Baptist Church at Hermitage. The Revs. Rufus Becket and E. Floyd Olive will officiate and burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
A resident of Nashville until she moved to Hermitage six years ago, Mrs. Burris was born and Reared here. She was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, J. E. Burris; two sons, Sgt. John E. Burris Jr., Coleman, Tex.,and James Lee Burris Hermitage; father, J. E. Goodman; a sister, Mrs. W. A. Melvin, and a brother Clifford Melvin all of Nashville.
