Allan Walter Kirk was born on May 7th 1897 in Tenby, Manitoba Canada to Henry and Julia Elizabeth (Knudson) Kirk. When he was 2 years old his mother died and his father was unable to care for himself, Allan and his brothers went to live with Julia's sisters. Allan and Samuel went to live with James and Dorothy (Knudson) Flanning/Flannery, the two older boys went to live with the Greentrees and the two oldest set off for the Canadian Army. He married Alice Pulham and they had two children Edith and Allan Richard. He later married Hazel Pulham (Alice's sister) and they had William, Donald, Roy, Ruth Ann and Vicki. He passed away suddenly at the age of 67 years, 3 months and 3 Days at hishome on Aug. 10th 1964 due to heart disease.
