Bradley Joseph Apgar, 33, of Penn Laird, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, June 20, 2015, at his home. Bradley was born June 30, 1981, in Galveston, Texas. He was a son of Phillip and Freda Apgar of Flower Mound, Texas.

He graduated from O’Connell High School in 1999 and continued his education at Blue Ridge Community College. He worked in the sales department at Myer Ford in Elkton, where he had many friends. Bradley had many interests in his life but most importantly was a caring husband, father and son, and showed his support to his entire family. He was an avid fisherman who loved playing golf and rooting for the Dallas Cowboys.

He was married to Alison, the love of his life, for 11 years, who survives along with his sons, Brendan Apgar, Tristan Apgar, Jaxson Apgar and Austin Apgar; two brothers, Chris John Apgar and his wife, Lisa, and Mike David Apgar and wife, Rosayln; grandmother and grandfather, Dawn and Charles Evans; in-laws, Theresa Warlitner and husband, Scott Rosser, Terry and Doris Warlitner; sister-in-law, Candace Warlitner; special aunt and uncle, Rose and Ross Powley of Texas; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

There will be a brief prayer service Thursday, June 25, 2015, at 7 p.m. at Kyger Funeral Home in Harrisonburg, which will be followed by a time of visitation.

A service of remembrance will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Duck Run Natural Cemetery.
