SENECAVILLE, OH -- Paul Ray Hickman, born August 22, 1944 in Akron, passed away unexpectedly on January 28, 2010 at the age of 65.
He was retired as a driver from 7-up in 2004. Paul also served in the US Marine Corps Reserves. He currently was serving on the Seacrest Center Board of Senecaville, Ohio.
Paul is survived by his wife of 20 years, Linda; children, Monica Hickman, Paul (Laura) Hickman, Dion (Tanya) Hickman, Dawn (Pat) Podobnik, and Jacque (Doug) Redman; grandchildren, Taylor, Connor, Andrea, Corey, Dakota, and Titus; brothers, Bob (Joyce) Longbottom and Ron (Sharon) Price; sisters, Pam (Bob) Stump and Elaine Whited.
The family will receive friends Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron, where a funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers donations in Paul's memory may be made to the American Diabetes Association , 1815 West Market Suite 118 Street, Akron, OH 44313.
