Mrs. Viola Mae King, fifty-six, wife of Milton F. King, Adamstown, died yesterday at 6 p. m. in the Reading Hospital where she was admitted several hours earlier. Dr. Paul D. Good, Berks County coroner, is conducting an investigation.
A daughter of the late B. J. and Mary Ann Troyer Lantz, she was a member of the Ephrata Church of the Brethren. Besides her husband she is survived by the following step-children: Esther K., wife of Clinton Crouse, Queen Anne, Md.; Dr. Samuel King, Rochester, N. H.; the Rev. Rufus B. King, Bridgewater, Va.; and Ann, wife of Joseph Nies, Adamstown.
Also surviving are her step-mother, Mrs. Nancy Lantz, Canton, Ohio, one brother, Jay E. Lantz, St. Louis, Mo.; two sisters, Mrs. Melvin Hostettler, Sugar Creek, Ohio; and Mrs. Wilbur Bosserman, Forest Wyne, [sic] Ind.; fifteen step-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.
