Dr. Albert Atha Dies at Caldwell

CALDWELL—Services will be at the Peckham-Dakan chapel at 10:30 a.m. Thursday for Dr. Augustus Albert Atha, 79, who died at a local nursing home at 4:30 a.m. Monday. The Rev. C. James Miller will officiate. Interment will be at Canyon Hill.
Born May 10, 1871, in West Liberty, Ohio, Dr. Atha was a graduate of New York University and served his internship at Bellevue hospital, New York. He studied in Berlin and Paris, and practiced in New York, where for 15 years he was a doctor for the Prudential Life Insurance company.
In 1910 he homesteaded near Hammett, Idaho, and in 1912 was married to Dora V. Wolf at Mountain Home. He was a member of the Presbyterian church.
Surviving are two sons, Howard of Caldwell and Albert A. of San Diego; a brother, Harry E. of West Liberty, and five grandchildren.
