CLIFFORD W. BRAGG, SR.

NORWAY - Clifford W. Bragg Sr., 78, of Hartford, died Thursday, July 24, at Stephens Memorial Hospital.
Born in Hartford, Oct. 19, 1924, a son of Frank and Helen Keene Bragg, he attended schools in Hartford and was a self-employed woodsman and farmer.
He was a believer in using draft horses for logging rather than modern machinery. He enjoyed watching horse pulling at the local fairs, reading, family gatherings and rides along the back roads.
Mr. Bragg served as fire warden for a few years and was a member of the Maine Farmers Draft Horse Club for several years and the Hartford Heritage Society.
He married Yvonne Bedard on April 1, 1959.
Survivors include his wife of Hartford; four sons, Clifford Jr. and his wife Cheryl, William and his wife, Kathy and Timothy and Roy, all of Hartford; one daughter, Ellen Bragg and her companion, Norman Morin of South Paris; four sisters, Vivian Hall of South Paris, Margurite Pulkkinen of Hartford, Beulah Brown of Hartford and Iva Graves of Temple; four grandchildren, Timothy Bragg, Paul Bragg, Sean Grant and Jason Grant; two great-grandchildren, Paige Grant and Brent Grant; a sister-in-law, Elizabeth Bragg of South Paris; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a brother, Walter Bragg.
BRAGG - Died in Norway, July 24, Clifford W. Sr., 78, of Hartford. Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. Sunday at the Andrews Funeral Home, High Street, Buckfield. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Elmwood Cemetery, East Sumner, with Pastor Lloyd Waterhouse officiating. If desired, donations can be made in his memory to the Maine Cancer Foundation, PO Box 553, Portland, ME 04112.
