Ray I. Worley, 80 died Tuesday, June 24, 2003 Mr. Worley was a native of Buncombe County and an Army veteran of World War II. He was the son of
the late E.I. and Grace Whitted
Worley.
deceased one son, Gregg Worley-killed in Vietnam- and one
grandson, Brad Lee Worley.
In addition to his wife wife of 56 years, Alma Price Worley he is
survived by his son, Gary Worley and
his wife, Jackie, of Crabtree in
Haywood County and a daughter,
Gracie Silver and her husband,
Ronnie, of Asheville.
grandchildren are Mitzi Cooper and
her husband, Doug, of Leicester,
Gregory Worley and his wife, Lynn, of
Leicester, Heidi Harper and her
husband, Dee, of Asheville, Heather
Brookshire and her husband, Chris, of
Asheville and Heath Silver of
Huntersville. His great-grandchildren
are Tanner and Taylor Grace
Brookshire, Cody and Dalton Cooper,
Devon and Avery Raye Harper and
Bradley Ray Worley.
Burial will be at
Paynes Chapel United Methodist
Church cemetery.
