I was dating my husband in Jan 1978 when we stopped into a pet store by chance and saw this fluffy ball of white fur. I fell in love. I left but could not get this puppy out of my mind. We returned the next day to pick up my birthday gift. He was absolulty adorable. He trained very easily. It helped because I was still living at my parents and he always had lots of love and attention. Some of my favorite memories was getting him to pose. He loved the camera and seem to know what to do. I dressed him for holiday photos and he didn't mind one bit. He loved snowmobile rides. We would look out the back door and he would be waiting to take a ride. He loved the cool air blowing in his face. Another favorite memory....he loved to lay in the kiddy pool, stick his head underwater and blow bubbles. It was adorable. He would raise his head up and smile.

When Bear was 12, he started having seizures. Medication could not control it. Our veterinarian suspected a brain tumor. Due to his age and complications we chose not to have the surgery. He was put to sleep in my arms as I spoke happy memories to him, trying not to display my sadness.

He is buried in my parents backyard.

He lived 12 years 6 months 16 days.
