Johnnie Mae was born in Aynor, SC, a daughter of the late John Griffin and Georgie Delilah Owens Floyd. She was the former Mayor of Aynor and the second woman to hold that office. Her greatest accomplishment as Mayor was to bring Water and Sewer to the town to initiate future growth. She was the Owner and Operator of both Teddy Bear Produce and Jet's Birdhouses in Aynor. Johnnie Mae will be remembered for her work ethic and helping many of the youth in the Aynor area. She was a member of Aynor United Methodist Church and also the Aynor Area Chamber of Commerce. Johnnie Mae enjoyed selling produce and being outdoors.
In addition to her parents, Johnnie Mae was preceded in death by her three husbands; A.M. Alford, C.P. Richardson, and Charles E. Timmons; her step-son, Rev. Alan Richardson; her sister, Helen F. Graham; and her brother-in-law, Sam W. Graham.
