Gladys "Tina" Faye Mathis, age 76 passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2013 in Tallahassee, Florida. She was born in Taylor County on April 4, 1937 to the late James Soloman Jackson and Lantie Hunter. She was a lifelong resident of Taylor County and attended the Center Street Church of God. She retired from working at the local Recycling Center.
Mrs. Mathis is survived by two sons; Charles Jackson, Jr. and James Jackson, Sr. both of Perry, one daughter; Denise Mosley of Perry, one brother; Curtis Jackson of Punta Gorda and one sister; Daphine Carlisle of Perry; thirteen Grandchildren; nineteen Great Grandchildren and one Great-Great Granddaughter.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Barney Mathis and one son Buddy Mathis.
