Ernest T. Bragg
CANTON, Oct. 31 (Special) - Ernest T. Bragg passed away Thursday evening at 6:30 at his home in Gilbertville after a long period of failing health.
Mr. Bragg was born in Augusta, March 15, 1860, the son of Thomas T. and Mary Jane Bragg. He received his education and spent his early manhood in that city. On May 14, 1881, he was united in marriage to Annie Jane West. To this union eight children were born, four sons and four daughters; Ernest of Augusta, Mrs. Lottie Grant of Greene, Clara Bragg of Portland, Frand and Raymond Bragg of Hartford, Mrs. Emily Child of Gilbertville, Harry Bragg of Buckfield and Alice Bragg of Amesbury, Mass.
Mr. Bragg was a farmer and has resided in Augusta, North Auburn and Hartford, and also had a furniture store at Livermore Falls until failing health caused him to retire from business in 1919, moving to Gilbertville, where he has since resided. He was a baptist by faith.
Besides the family already mentioned, he leaves several grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
