She was the daughter of the late John and Anna Ceaser Williams.
Lois was a member of the 1944 graduating class of Ashley High School.
She was employed for many years by RCA, retiring in 1977.
She was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church, Ashley, where she also was a member of the United Methodist Women and the Friendship Circle. She served on the Administrative Board of the church and ran the Food Bank, along with her husband, at the church for many years.
Lois was very active in helping others in need. She volunteered her time to both the American Red Cross for more than 18 years, and also with Luzerne County Meals on Wheels along with her husband. She was a Girl Scout leader for several years and worked at the Lee Park Towers with the Bureau of the Aging Lunch Program for seniors.
Preceding her in death was her husband of 59 years, William Richard Daniel, on May 24, 2009.
Surviving are her son and his wife; her daughter and her husband; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers; a sister; several nieces and nephews.
Private serves were held for the family with interment in Maple Hill Cemetery, Hanover Township.
