Bruce McRae Miller Sr. 92 of Albemarle died Saturday, May 23, 2015 at Trinity Place.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00PM Monday, May 25, 2015 at Silver Springs Baptist Church. Rev. Mark Little will officiate and interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
Mr. Miller was born April 16, 1923 in Chesterfield County, SC and was a son of the late Cline and Edna McRae Miller. He was a retiree of Alcoa and a longtime member of Silver Springs Baptist Church. He was a Freemason and a member of Albemarle Lodge #703.
He will be remembered as a Devout Christian, Husband, Father and Grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his wife Thelma Mitchum Miller, a son, Charles Benjamin "Ben" Miller and a grandson, Bear Miller.
He is survived by his son Bruce M. Miller Jr. and wife Donna of Gainesville, Georgia. Six Grandchildren, Jessica Martin and husband Derrick, Ashley Edens and husband Matthew, Paige Miller, Tara Rowel and husband Cope, Megan Fusco and husband Tom and Andrew Thacker and wife Liza. Seven Great-Grandchildren, Jenny Martin, Gavin and Gabe Edens, Beau Miller, Ramsey Rowell, Nate Fusco and Brooks Thacker.
