Thomas Roy Teague, 89, of 942 North Turkey Creek Road, Leicester, died Friday, April 23, 1999, in an Asheville hospital.
Mr. Teague was born in Buncombe County, was a son of the late Sewell and Pearl White Teague, and was married to Hattie Surrett Teague, who died in 1986. He was a retired farmer and was a member of Beulah Baptist Church.
He was a very loving father and grandfather and is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Mabel and Aubrey Sayles of Leicester; a granddaughter, Annette Ward and her husband John; two great-granddaughters, Hannah Wynne
and Lydia Ward; a great-great-granddaughter, Kayla Davis; and a sister, Ethel Medford of
Canton.
Funeral services will be at 3:00 pm Sunday at Beulah Baptist Church with the Revs. John T. Tiller, Don Austin, and Phillip Freeman officiating. Burial
will be in church cemetery.
