REID, Donald John 91, of Spring Hill, passed away May 7, 2015 at home under the care of HPH Hospice. Donald was born in Lynn, MA and moved here 29 years ago. He is a member of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church and served in the U.S. Navy during WWII as an aerial photographer. He attended Wentworth Institute in Boston studying Structural Engineering and was a Supervisor for Gaurdeau Construction in Massachusetts for nearly 30 years. Don was instrumental in starting the Life Skills program in Hernando County for Mentally Challenged Adults. He enjoyed spending time with family, friends, and traveling. He is predeceased by is first wife, Mary Ann Reid and son, Donald C. Reid. He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline "Jackie" Reid of the home; 2 sisters, Jean Boynton of Beverly, MA and Betty Gianascol of Stratham, NH; nieces and nephews; 6 stepchildren and loving family. Memorial Service will be held May 21, at 10:30 am at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. In lieu of flowers, Don asked that donations be made to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 1214 Broad

Street, Masaryktown, FL 34604. Interment will be held at a later date at Florida National Cemetery.
