Leicester - Willie Mae Caldwell King, 67, of 3453 New Leicester Highway,
Leicester, died Saturday, Dec. 18, 2004, at her home.
Mrs. King was born in Haywood County and was a daughter
of the late Lee and Susie Sweeden Caldwell. She was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Mac Donald King; three daughters, Kathy Cason and her husband, Randy, of Leicester, Peggy Capley of Leicester and Shelby Sentelle and her husband, John, of Brevard; two sons, Joe King and his wife, Jane, and Jerry King and his wife, Kathy, all of Asheville; two sisters, Anna Belle Robinson and her husband, Rex, of Weaverville and Judy Lineberry and her husband, Evelyn, of Siler City; three brothers, Carl Caldwell and his wife, Evon, Francis Caldwell and his wife, Ann, and Howard Caldwell, all of Siler City; and eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Rev. Michael Funderburk officiating. Burial will be at Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Robert, Roger, Randy and Jason King,
Jeremy Reece and Michael Rathburn.
