Dine (Deenee) Burtt Pedersen, 91, entered into rest on May 11, 2015 in Manteca. She was born on November 4, 1923 in Galt to the late Nicholas and Henrika Kooy.
  
Dine is preceded in death by her husband, Henry N. Pederson; her loving son, Wilson D. Burtt Jr. and wife, Cindy; Dine was blessed with one grandchild, Christian Burtt and wife, Marie and two great grandchildren; three surviving siblings, Elisabeth Courway, Clarence Kooy and Harvey Kooy and wife, Patricia.
  
Dine was a Manteca resident. She graduated from Manteca High School in the class on 1941. She worked at a car dealership as a secretary for years. Dine was a volunteer braille typist. A talented seamstress, Dine's meticulousness and skill transpired with every garment.. 

She was timid, but  her humor would always shine through.  She loved her son dearly as he was her pride and joy. She will be remembered for her love for her family and her gentle spirit.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2015 at 10:00am at P.L. Fry and Son Funeral Home, Manteca.      

She will be laid to rest alongside her husband privately at San Joaquin National Cemetery at a later day.
