Died - Mrs. E.J. Alexander at her sons, Samuel Alexander's in Jackson township, in her seventy-seventh year of her age. Mrs. Alexander was born in June 1810 of pious Scottish parents in Ireland and emigrated to this country when she was ten years of age. Grandma visited among her children in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Missouri for a number of years but at last her constitution gave way and she took up her residence with her son Samuel, at which she died on the morning of September 28, 1886 and was buried in the West Liberty Cemetery on the 28th.
