Wm. Alexander, 91 dies at Centerville, Hospital

Mr. William Alexander 91, a lifelong resident of this county passed away at 8:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 28, at the S. Joseph Hospital in Centerville, Iowa where he had been for a little over a week.

He is survived by four sons and four daughters - Henry and Hercel, both of Lucerne, Mo; Herman, Rosendale, Mo. and Hallie; Mrs. Mabel Bruce, Lucerne, Mo.; Mrs. Hazel Montgomery, Unionville; Mrs. Pearl Hackney, Unionville; and Mrs. Mae Hackney, Unionville; also a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, January 30, at Comstock Funeral Home conducted by MelvinBaldwin, minister of the Assembly of God Church, and Rodney Randall, minister of the first Christian Church of Unionville. Burial will be in the West Liberty Cemetery.
