Mrs. Betty Jean Todd Smith age 70 died Monday, May 11, 2015 in Autumn Care in Shallotte, NC. Born September 3, 1944 in Charleston, SC, she was the daughter of the late Gaston and Wilma Thomas Todd.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother: Mack Todd.
She is survived by her husband: Ellis Smith of the home; one son: Allen Smith and wife Brenda of Ash, NC; one daughter: Crystal Smith of Ash, NC; two sisters: Mary Fulwood of Ocean Isle Beach, Ruby Bazen of Sunset Beach; three grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 13, 2015 from 6 PM to 8 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home of Tabor City.
A Graveside service will be held Thursday, May 14, 2015 at 2 PM in the Smith Cemetery, Longwood Rd, Ash, NC.
