Henry Lloyd Moss, age 82, died on Sunday, June 17, 2007 at Tranquility Hospice in Austell, Georgia. He was born on August 23, 1924 in Cherokee County, North Carolina to the late Rebecca Garrett and Henry Moss.
Mr. Moss was a devout and humble servant of His Lord and Savior. He exemplified Christ in every aspect of his life and most assuredly heard those blessed words on Sunday - "Well done, thou good and faithful servant:…enter thou into the joy of thy Lord."
Mr. Moss is survived by his son and his wife, Johnny and Betty McCormick; his daughter Judy Rhodes; his daughter and her husband Van and Joann McDaniel; and his son, Kelly Moss. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. He is further survived by one sister, other relatives and innumerable friends.
In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by four sisters, one brother and a son, Kenneth Lloyd Moss. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 20th at Winkenhofer Chapel at Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home. The Rev. Homer Morris will officiate.
