George G "Rick" Winter, 62 of Black Betsy, WV was a won of the late Curtis Luther and Ollie Grace Hood Winter. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Patty Jones Winter. He was a Christian and member of Faith Independent Church, Black Betsy. He was a US Army veteran of Vietnam, and was employed as a welding inspector for many years. In addition to his wife, he is survived by five daughters, Kelly Smith of Middleport, OH, Karah Chancy of Rutland, OH, Danya Morgan of Bancroft, Kasey Wise of Point Pleasant, Samantha Browning of Black Betsy; one son, Jason Winter of Scott Depot; his sister, Winnefred "Wink" Fontalbert of Marmet; his brothers, Curtis Winter of Bancroft, Michael Winter of Sissonville, David Winter of Poca, Charles Winter of Cross Lanes; nine grandchildren. Burial with military honors provided by the HJ Thomas Marine Corps League in the Donel C. Kinnard Memorial State Veterans Cemetery, Dunbar.
