CLYDE LEWIS MILLER RITES ARE HELD AT CEDAR CHAPEL

Influenza caused the death of Clyde Lewis Miller, 68, at his home on Lakeshore Drive in Auburn Monday evening at 6:30.

Mr. Miller did not feel well but continued to work for Auburn Foundry, Inc.. until last Thursday when he became ill at the factory and was taken home.

He was born in Jackson township April 5. 1876. He was married July 24, 1897, to Mae Carnahan. Mr. Miller was a farmer in early life. He had been employed at the foundry since last February.

Mr. Miller was a member of Cedar Chapel congregation and funeral services will be held in the church Thurs-day afternoon at 2 o'clock. Rev. E. F. Clauser, pastor of the Missionary church in Auburn, will officiate and burial will be made in Cedar Chapel cemetery.

Survivors include the widow, four daughters, Mrs. Marie Smith of Richmond, Mrs. Lewis James of Waterloo. Mrs. Helen Weicker of Woodburn and Mrs. Annabelle Campbell of near Auburn; three sons. Paul of east of Auburn, Carl, of Lansing. Mich., and Don of 327 West Fifteenth street, Auburn; two brothers, Wesley, Jackson township, and James, Fort Wayne; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Two of the grandsons are serving with the armed forces.
