She was a homemaker and a former dental assistant for Dr. Mayfield in Glasgow.
She loved playing bridge and had been very active in bridge clubs in Glasgow as well as while residing in Louisville. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Glasgow.
Survivors:
One son, Dr. Terry Vaughn Grissom of Fernandina Beach, Florida; one daughter, Sally Grissom Coleff (Nicholas) of Louisville; one grandson, Mark Scott Vaughn Grissom of Girdwood, AK; and two nephews, Joe Barry Simmons of Glasgow and Richard Smith Vaughn, Jr. of California.

Her parents; her husband; one brother, Billy Vaughn; two sisters, Grace Simmons and Inez Biggers; and one nephew, Bobby Biggers.
