Lawrence "Mousey" Besoni, 50, Route 2, Stone Lake, died Thursday, Nov. 23, at Community Memorial Hospital at Spooner.

He was born Aug. 5, 1939, in Hayward, the son of Henry and Julia Buck Besoni. He attended school at St. Francis in Reserve and graduated from Hayward High School. He attended welding school in California and lived in Ukiah, CA, until returning tot he Hayward area in 1970. He worked for the LCO school system as a parent school coordinator.

Surviving is a stepdaughter, Rose Grover, Hayward, and many nephews, nieces, and cousins.

The Mass of Christian burial was conducted at 10 AM Monday, Nov. 27, at St. Francis Solanus Mission Church in Reserve. Fr. Brendan Kunda was the celebrant. Visitation was after 5PM Sunday at the Rose Grover residence. The Anderson Nathan Funeral Home of Hayward was in charge of the arrangements.

Casket bearers were George Butler, Tom Quaderer, Alfred Taylor, Joseph Grover, Duane Corbine, and Kim Krzebetkowski.
