Beatrice Maxwell
July 12, 1930 - April 10, 2015


Beatrice Maxwell, aged 84 years, passed away Friday, April 10, 2015, in Phoenix, Arizona. She was one of four children born to James and Sarah Eaton on July 12, 1930, in Terrebonne, Oregon.

Beatrice was raised in central Oregon graduating from Redmond High school in 1948. She continued her education at NW Christian College while working as a telephone operator.

Beatrice married, Robert Maxwell on August 12, 1951, at the Redmond Christian Church. Bea and Bob centered their lives on true Christian principals. While living in Eugene they belonged to the Santa Clara Church of Christ of Eugene.

While wintering in Arizona, they belonged to the Christ Church on the River in Parker, AZ. Having moved to Bend in 1996, the Real Life Christian Church became their home church. Her Church and her family where her greatest joys in life. Bea was also a member of the Band of Brothers, Bend Chapter.

Mrs. Maxwell is survived by her beloved husband, Robert; her loving children, Verda Marie Maxwell of Molalla, Linda Ann Maxwell of Bend, Bonnie Loree Spies and Mark of Eugene, and Sharon Rosanne Maxwell of Bend; also seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers and her parents.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2015, at 10:00 a.m., at Eastmont Church 62425 Eagle Rd, Bend, OR 97701, with Bea’s Pastor, Mike Yunker officiating. A motorcade under the auspices of OVMA will lead us to Terrebonne Cemetery for the graveside service.

Family and friends are invited to fellowship and food at Real Life Christian Church, 2880 N.E. 27th St., Bend, OR 97701.

Memorial contributions have been suggested to the Robert and Beatrice Maxwell Medal of Honor Scholarship Fund at Boise Bible College 8695 W. Marigold St., Boise, Idaho 83714.
