Karen Lee Aadland born November 13, 1961 in Geneva, Illinois
passed away on April 4, 2015 at her home in Ione, California.
Karen is survived by three daughters; Christine (Jacob) Taylor of Lodi; Robin Carter (Ronald) Fuller of Valley Springs and Lisa (William) Peat of Stockton. She is also survived by six grandchildren; Zachary, Madison, Jennalyn and Dominic Taylor and Jayden and Kameron Fuller. These grandchildren were the delight of her life.
She is also survived by her mother, Rita Deller of Pittsburg; a brother, Frank Deller of Las Vegas, NV, two sisters; Denise McCown of Oakley and Melissa DelDosso of Pacheco and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Deller, and her previous husband, Robert Holtz of Lodi.
She moved to California with her parents & siblings in 1968 and attended school in Pleasant Hill, graduating from College Park High School. Karen worked for many years as a Registered Dental Assistant for several dentists in Lodi and later worked for Delta Dental Plan in Rancho Cordova. She had recently started a new job in Jackson which would allow her to once again work with dental patients rather than just processing dental insurance claims. She was very excited to be starting this new phase in her career.
She will not only be missed by family, but her many friends and co-workers.
A memorial will be held on Friday April 24, 2015 at 1 p.m. at Faith Community Church in Acampo California. Donations can be made to her children in lieu of flowers.
