Jonathon Christopher Smart, 19, of Napoleon, Ohio died Sunday, April 05, 2015 at Cleveland Clinic. He was born December 13, 1995 in Defiance, Ohio to Christopher A. and Heather (Welch) Smart.
Jon was a 2014 graduate of Napoleon High School and Four County Career Center where he studied auto collision. He enjoyed painting and repairing cars.
Jon loved playing paintball and was a member of the Goosetown S.W.A.T. He helped his Mom coach soccer and softball and enjoyed playing football, video games, and hanging out with his friends.
He is survived by his parents, Chris and Heather Smart; brother, Jordan Smart; sister, Mya Smart; girlfriend, Autumn Richard, maternal grandmother, Nancy Welch; maternal grandfather, Kerry (Linda) Welch, all of Napoleon; maternal great grandmother, Opal Davis; paternal grandfather, Robert Smart, Sr. both of Delta, Ohio; paternal great grandmother, Carol Pontious, of Pennsylvania; uncles, Aaron Welch, Robert (Carey) Smart Jr.; "uncles", Ricky (Kelli) Navarre, Jay (Keli) Navarre; "aunt", Tracy (C.J.) Langwell; cousins, Daniel, Andy, Jacob, Jocelynn, Noah, Austin, Zach, Dezarae, Nicholas, Dylan, Dameian, Dakotah, Kade, Kendra, and Kale. He was preceded in death by paternal grandmother, Becky Haro, cousins, Joe and Angel.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on April 12 at Rodenberger Funeral Home, Napoleon.
Visitation will be held on Saturday from 2-8 p.m. and Sunday from 12-2 p.m. at Rodenberger Funeral Home, Napoleon.
Memorials are suggested to Rodenberger Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
