Mary E. Pensyl, 90, of Nazareth, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Gracedale Nursing Home, of Nazareth. She was the loving wife for 59 years of the late Harry G. Pensyl, Jr., until his passing in 2009. Mary was born on October 21, 1930 in Easton, PA. She was the daughter of the late William S.F. Gordon and the late Edith (Krock) Gordon. Mary was a member of St. John’s U.C.C., of Nazareth. She retired from the former Binney & Smith, now Crayola, of Easton. She was a member of East Lawn Social Club, VFW Post #4366, and Vigilance Hose Fire Co. Social Club, all of Nazareth. She loved playing Bingo, and going to the casino.
Mary is deeply missed by children, Patricia A. Todora, of Wind Gap, Cathy Efkovich and her husband Louis, of Nazareth, Gordon Pensyl and his wife Ginny, of Mt. Bethel; granddaughters, Marci Newman and her husband Nathan, of Evans, GA, Jennie Repsher and her husband Christopher, of Easton; grandsons, Marc Pensyl and his wife Sara, of Mt. Bethel, Jason Efkovich, of Nazareth; great-grandsons, Drakye, Ryker, Rocco, and Michael; sisters, Lorretta Seigfried, Lucille Mengle and her husband Dale, all of Nazareth. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Harry; brothers, William and Russell Gordon; sisters, Arlene Nelson and Judith Greenleaf; son-in-law, Paul “Boody” Todora.
Services will be private and at the convenience of her family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Joseph F. Reichel Funeral Home Inc., of Nazareth.
