Christian Pier Ayala
July 2, 1996 – March 26, 2015
Resident of San Jose

Christian Pier Ayala passed away unexpectedly on March 26, 2015. He was 18 years old. Christian was born on July 2, 1996 in San Jose. He graduated from Pioneer High School in 2014. He was attending San Diego State University at the time of his death.

Known for his deeply soulful, creative and caring heart, Christian enriched the lives of many through his love of learning, music, service to others, deep relationships with friends and family, poetry, creative writing and his innate ability to light up a room, bringing life and laughter to those around him.

Gone so suddenly and far too soon, while we struggle to understand Christian's passing, we also trust that the brilliant, beautiful boy we knew is now held in God's peace. Beloved son of Enrique and Lisa. Devoted brother to sister Vittoria and brother Nicolas. Loving grandson of Pier and Gail Maggiani and Eleodoro and Consuelo Ayala. Cherished nephew and cousin to so many aunts, uncles and cousins who filled Christian's life with love.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Vigil Service on Easter Sunday, April 5, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. with Visitation beginning at 12:00 Noon at LIMA-CAMPAGNA-ALAMEDA MISSION CHAPEL, 600 S. Second Street, San Jose, and join us in Honoring and Celebrating his Life at a Funeral Mass on Monday, April 6, 2015 at 9:00 A.M. at Holy Spirit Church, 1200 Redmond Avenue, San Jose. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, Los Altos.

In lieu of flowers, and given Christian's care and actions for those affected by homelessness, donations in Christian's honor may be sent to Sacred Heart Community Service -- Homeless Services, 1381 S. 1st Street, San Jose, CA 95110.
