Mrs. Brown was born February 1, 1927 in Adel, GA, to Shelton M. Alderman and the former Lavada Ann Jones.
She was of the Baptist faith and was a member of the Community Church.
She had a great sense of humor and loved playing pranks on family and friends.
Mrs. Brown was a homemaker and in her spare time enjoyed sewing, cooking, gardening, canning, fishing and crabbing, and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Shelton and Lavada Alderman, her husband, Samuel Brown, in 1997, 2 sisters, Madine Gay and Inez Veal, and 2 brothers Clyde and Roy Alderman.
Funeral services will be held at Joe P Burns Funeral Home Chapel in Perry on Monday, March 30, 2015 at 10:00AM
Interment will follow in Pineview Memorial Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-8PM on Sunday, March 29, 2015 at Joe P Burns Funeral Home. I
