Marshall - Leola Elizabeth Bradburn, 88, of Boyd Cove Road, died Thursday May 25, 2006, at the Mountain Area Solace Center.
A native and lifelong resident of Madison County, Mrs. Bradburn was a member of the Piney Grove Baptist Church. She loved to sew and to cook for her family.
Mrs. Bradburn was the daughter of the late Wiley Shelton and Dollie Martin Shelton. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Nealey Bradburn, who died in 1990; daughter, Wanda Johnson; son, Earl Bradburn; sister, Catherine Sluder; brothers J.D. and Ray Shelton.
Mrs. Bradburn leaves behind her family, including her daughters, Audria Bradburn and Geraldine Brown; son, Rex Bradburn and his wife, Christine; brother, Ted Shelton; grandchildren, Joyce Roberts, Michael Bradburn, Randy Bradburn, Lisa Marlor, Cheryll Allison, Darlene Colclasure, Rexann Wood and Amanda Lesley; great-grandchildren, Donnie, Daniel and Damion Roberts, Aaron Allison, Don Marlor, James and Elizabeth Lesley, Caleb and Hannah Colclasure, Brayton and Chayton Bradburn, and Kenan and Lydia Wood.
The funeral service for Mrs. Bradburn will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Madison Funeral Home conducted by the Rev. Robert Hawkins.
Burial will follow in Piney Grove Baptist Church Cemetery
