Frank was born to Irish immigrant James Coyle and Mary Ann Corr, daughter of John Corr and Bridget Fallon.

On November 12, 1923, Frank married Teresa M. Tassinari of Wareham, Massachusetts. She was the daughter of Italian immigrants Alessandro Tassinari and Maria Balboni. The wedding took place in Middleborough, Massachusetts at Sacred Heart Church. It was the first marriage for both.

In the early 1930s, Frank and his family moved to the Pasadena-Altadena area of Los Angeles where he was in the employ of J.W. Robinson, a department store, and M.B. Payne, a glass and mirror company. In 1940, his family returned to Taunton taking up residence at 117 Broadway. He was employed as a clerk by the Myles Standish Hospital.

Frank died in 1949 of sub-acute bacterial endocarditis, a complication of having rheumatic fever years earlier. He was 49 years old.

OBITUARY
FRANCIS G. COYLE, 49, of 117 Broadway died Saturday after a year's illness. He was born in Taunton, the son of the late James and Mary (Corr) Coyle and attended St. Mary's Grammar and High Schools. For years, he was district manager of the Tilo Roofing Co. until 1931 when he moved with his family to California.
Upon his return to Taunton, he entered the employ of the government at Camp Myles Standish where he remained until a year ago.
Possessed of a fine tenor voice, he was active in amateur theatricals in his youth. His disposition was always genial and his friends numbered hundreds in Taunton and vicinity. He was a member of Monsignor James Coyle Council 82 Knights of Columbus and had served this organization on various committees.
He leaves his wife, Teresa M., three sons, Francis G., a student at Fordham University, James P., a student at the Law School of the University of Notre Dame, William E., of the New York Personal Finance Co., a brother James P. Coyle, principal of the Caswell Grammar School, a sister Catharine Coyle, principal of the Summer St. School, and a grandson, Michael, son of James P. Coyle.

DEATH NOTICE:
The funeral of Francis G. Coyle, 117 Broadway, was held this morning at nine o'clock from the Dolan Funeral Home, followed by solemn high mass of requiem at St. Mary's Church at ten o'clock and committal services at St. Francis' Cemetery. Rev. Edward F. Coyle, S.S. of St. Mary's Seminary, Baltimore, a cousin of the deceased, was celebrant of the mass. He was assisted by the Rev. Edward E. Morris, deacon, and Rev. James Dolan, sub deacon, Rev. George Benaglia, C.S.C. of Stonehill College, Rev. Francis E. McKeon, and Rev. Edward F. Killigrew. Delegations were present from the Monsignor James Coyle Council 82 Knights of Columbus, Camp Myles Standish, Caswell School and Summer St. School. Committal services at the cemetery were conducted by the Rev. Edward F. Coyle assisted by Rev. James Dolan and Rev. Edward E. Morris. Bearers were Hon. John F. Parker, Joseph N. McCormack, James F. Doherty, Edmond T. Flynn, William A. Lyons and Joseph E. Keough.
