Carl S. Bloom
Funeral for Carl Sigfried Bloom, 93, a 68-year Spokane resident, was today at Hazen and Jaeger's, with burial at Fairmount.
Mr. Bloom died Friday at the home of his son, Harold Bloom, in Ellensburg, where he had resided the past two years.
Born in Stockholm, Sweden, he was employed as a carman for Great Northern Railroad here from 1918 to 1954. Mr Bloom was a member of the Brotherhood of Railway Carmen and of Beacon Chapel.
Survivors include one daughter, Ruth E. Kline of Spokane; his son; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
