Ellen V. Braymer, age 72, a resident of 1421 Walnut in Chillicothe MO died Saturday, March 20, 1993 at her home.
She was born on December 16, 1920 in Laclede MO the daughter of Alexander “Sam” and Via Glenn McDonnell. She was a graduate of Brookfield High School and attended the Chillicothe Business College. On October 25, 1958 she married Hugh R. Braymer.
Mrs. Braymer had been employed by the Churchill Truck Line, Lambert Manufacturing Co., Standard Life Insurance Co., Kanan Abstract Co., and at the time of her death was employed at the Livingston County Library where she had worked for 15 years. She was a member of the St. Columban’s Catholic Church in Chillicothe, MO and was a member of the Altar Society and the Blue Army.
Mrs. Braymer was survived by her husband, Hugh as well as a son, Donald Braymer of Chillicothe and a daughter Patricia Davison of Shawnee, KS., two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Services for Ellen were on Tuesday, March 23, 1993 at the St. Columban’s Catholic Church in Chillicothe. A parish rosary service was at Lindley Funeral Home in Chillicothe on Monday, March 22, 1993. Burial was at St. Micheal’s Catholic Cemetery in Brookfield, MO. Memorial contributions were suggested to the Livingston County Library.
