He is survived by his wife of 47 years Beverly; daughter Tammy (Paul) Neuman and their 3 children; Kara, Dakota, and Jennifer (Jason) Bembers, Great Grandson Jacob. Son Scott (Kim) Newsome, and their two sons Tristan and Tyler. Siblings Mike (Jane) Newsome, Robert (Karen) Newsome, Dennis, Sheila (Bruce), Debbie (Randy), Sister in law Marcy. Preceded in death by Brother David (December 08) and Sister in law Sharon (March 08).
Gary was an avid hunter and fisherman taking trips with family and friends as well as enjoying many different hobbies. He spent 30 years as District 8 Administrator for Little League Baseball. One of his greatest accomplishments in Little League was starting the Challengers Baseball program with his wife. His biggest rewards were the many friends that he met through Little League Baseball and knowing that he helped make a positive impact on our youth. Gary's greatest joy in life was spending time with his family. Gary touched many lives in his journey and will be deeply missed by his family. The family wishes to express sincere appreciation to many caregivers that helped in his care, we could not have gone through this without them.
Funeral Services will be held at Floral Hills Funeral Home, 409 Filbert Road, Lynnwood, WA 98036, on Wednesday March 25th, 2009
