William De Witt Cornwell, 69, resident of Washington for 50 years, died unexpectedly yesterday at his home, 6347 Thirty-first Street Northwest.
A native of Albany, N. Y., Mr. Cornwell had been employed at Goldenberg's department store for 41 years.
He leaves his wife, Mrs. Mary Cornwell, and a daughter, Mrs. Helen E. Rittenhouse, of Washington.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Huntemann's funeral home, 5732 Georgia Avenue Northwest. Burial will be in Fort Lincoln Cemetery.
