Austin Michael Brown, 20, passed away Thursday, Feb. 19, 2015 at his home. He was a native of Cordele, GA. Austin was preceded in death by his Father, Steward Brown, his maternal grandparents, Ralph & Ruth McMillan and grandfather, Bill Scarbrough.
He is survived by his parents, Kathy McMillan Brown & Don Scarbrough of Goodlettsville; Grandmother: Ethel Scarbrough of Woodbury; Brothers: Will Kitchens of Covington, LA, Lane (Katie) Jones of Jacksonville, FL., Josh (Jamie) Jones Americus, GA., Joseph (Kayla) Jones of Augusta, GA. , Bo Brown of Leesburg, GA., Andy Brown of Arabi, GA.,; Step Sister: Amanda (Travis) Roose of Vidalia, GA.; Step Brother: Ben Scarbrough of Statesboro, GA.; Nieces & Nephew: Kanyan, Jaislyn and Jada.
Austin was a full time student at Volunteer State Community College and had a love for sports especially baseball, football and basketball. He was a member of Cornerstone Community Church, Woodbury.
Funeral Services will be 1 pm Saturday, February 21, 2015 at Cornerstone Community Church with Bro. Rick McFerrin officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 5 pm to 8 pm Friday, February 20, 2015 at Woodbury Funeral Home. For those wishing to do so, donations may be made to Cannon Co.
