Rev. Leroy Farnam, 77, of Dardanelle died Monday, March 16, 2015, at his home in Dardanelle, Arkansas. He was born Aug. 4, 1937, in Delaware, Arkansas, to Seth Reed and Mamie Woods Farnam. He was a pastor for several area Free Will Baptist Churches for over 30 years and was a dispatcher for Mobley Construction for over 40 years.

He was a loving father. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, S.R. Farnam and Sonny Boy Farnam; and three sisters, Lavona Jaggers, Jewel Pennington and Oleta Sims.

He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Macial Farnam; three daughters, Donna Farnam and Cheri Courtney of Austin, Texas, Cindy and Donald Lamb of Dover and Patty Farnam of Russellville; several nephews and nieces, and his buddy, Ranger, his poodle.

The funeral service will begin at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 20, 2015, at the Shinn Chapel with the Rev. Scott Findley officiating. Burial will be in the Elizabeth Hall Cemetery near New Blaine under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.

The family will receive friends from 5-6 p.m. on Thursday evening at the funeral home.
