Born in Providence, a daughter of the late John and Blanche M. (Caldwell) Davidson, she lived in Warwick most of her life.
She was a salesclerk for the former W.T. Grant Co. of Providence for 15 years, retiring in 1979. She was a member of the Central Grange 34 for 50 years, a member of the Rhode Island Pomona State Grange for 60 years, and a member of the East Greenwich Dahlia Society. She was the recipient of many awards for her flowers.
She leaves a son, Robert L. Alexander of Franconia, N.H.; a daughter, Barbara J. Bourgeois of Shannock; a sister, Jean Barber of Exeter; 9 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandson.
Sister of the late Horace and Charles Davidson, and Hazel Macomber.
