Mr. Omer Lee Harlow, 83, of Brandenburg, KY passed away Friday, March 13, 2015 at Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital, Louisville, KY. He was born February 3, 1932 in Worthville, KY the son of Carl and Elva Mae Hewitt Harlow, Sr.

Mr. Harlow was a member of Buck Grove Baptist Church, sold newspapers on the corner, worked for L&N Railroad at age 17, spent 28 years as a claims agent for Ford Motor Co., was a volunteer firefighter, a former member of the Lions Club, and, loved to square dance and play basketball and baseball.

Mr. Harlow was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Paula Tucker, a Grandson, Travis Stowers, Jr., a sister, Lola Mary Williams and a brother, Carl Harlow, Jr. He is survived by a daughter Carla Harlow, Brandenburg, KY, 4 Grandchildren, Tesa McGarry, Louisville, KY, Crystal Carter, Daniel Tucker and Jesse Tucker, Brandenburg, KY, and 4 Great-grandchildren Hanna McGarry, Taylor McGarry, Jansen McGarry and Dustin Shaw.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday from the Chapel of the Hager Funeral Home with burial in Garnettsville Cemetery.



BRANDENBURG, Ky.- Omer Lee Harlow, 83, of Brandenburg, previously of Worthville, Ky. died Friday, March 13, 2015, at Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital in Louisville, Ky.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Chapel of the Hager Funeral Home in Brandenburg, Ky., with burial in Garnettsville Cemetery in Brandenburg.
Survivors include a daughter Carla Harlow of Brandenburg; four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Elva Mae Hewitt Harlow, Sr; a daughter, Paula Tucker; and a grandson.
